In consonance with the philosophy of National Educational Policy and the spirit of Resilient Curriculum, the School of Foundational Sciences is constituted as an essential organ of RISM.
The engineering learning is fortified by strong basics in Natural Sciences and Social Sciences.
This School comprises of Departments of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Social Sciences with dedicated faculty.
RISM will admit graduate students to these departments to pursue Masters and Doctoral qualifications.
The faculty, in addition to their engagement with the UG students, will be pursuing translational research in their fields of specialization.

Dr. Subha Sandeep Repaka is a Mathematician specializing in Representation Theory and its interactions with Number Theory, with emerging interests in Quantum Computing and Machine Learning. He received his B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 2003. Driven by a deep interest in Mathematics, he pursued higher studies in the subject and earned his Master’s degree in Pure Mathematics from University of Hyderabad in 2006. Following his Master’s degree, he served as a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Hyderabad (2008–2009).
